The Administrative Assistant supports the Human Resources and Accounting Departments in their day-to-day functions. This person helps compile and keep personnel records either electronically or in hard copy. In this role, the Administrative Assistant is required to maintain confidentiality regarding compensation and personnel matters and must comply with applicable regulatory and legal statutes including, but not limited to, HIPPA and EEOC.
Human Resources
· Compiles applicant/new employee packages.
· Orders background checks, drug screens, and agility tests for prospective employees.
· Sets up and monitors Rise training.
· Completes I-9 documents, verifying acceptable documentation, and scans into employee files.
· Creates electronic employee files, scans employment records into Kronos, and maintains required hard copy files in a neat and orderly manner.
· Issues and records electronic key fobs and new employee badges; notifies IT when key fobs must be deactivated.
· Performs filings and general administrative tasks.
Accounting
· Prepare and submit cash receipts.
· Assist in preparing customer invoices.
· Perform filing and general administrative tasks.
· Communicate with other departments/customers/vendors.
