We are currently seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the EVP of Operations, this pivotal role oversees the plant's day-to-day activities with a keen focus on production, maintenance, and quality departments. Our goal is to significantly enhance our plant's productivity and efficiency, and this role is key to achieving that aim.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and synchronize activities within the production, maintenance, and quality control departments to ensure seamless and proficient operations.
- Implement cutting-edge management practices and technologies to improve plant throughput and minimize operational costs.
- Plan and oversee the upgrade of plant equipment and machinery, aligning with the latest technological advancements and industry standards.
- Develop and inspire departmental leaders, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Strategically plan enhancements in production rates, equipment reliability, and product quality.
- Collaborate with supply chain departments to integrate innovative processes that boost operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate teams.
- Solid background in strategic planning and budget management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety compliance, quality control/assurance principles, and regulatory standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
