Summary/Objective
Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment. Sometimes deliveries must be made locally or near-state (Arkansas). Duties include addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise and moving or arranging plastic product (rolls) inside the warehouse.Checking shipments for correctness of quantity or any damaged product and reporting to the Warehouse Manager or appropriate department. Contacting company drivers or carrier representatives as to when a load is ready for shipment. Maintaining counts on stock items and updating as needed. Using a fork truck to arrange plastic rolls inside the warehouse and pick up product from the holding area of Production on a daily basis.
